Hi, I’m Randy Williams—The Prince of Playas to some, just Randy to my mom and the taxman. In 2023, I wrapped up the ultimate travel flex: visiting every country on Earth. That’s all 193 of them, checked off the list. Along the way, I collected a few stamps on my life as well—picking up homes in Brazil, Panama, and Mexico. Living abroad was everything I hoped it would be, and I’d tell anyone to try it at least once.

But here’s the thing—no matter how much I loved the adventure, there was always this one nagging issue. Homesickness. Missing the little comforts of the USA. And let me tell you, getting back? A logistical nightmare. Flying for hours to check in on family, handle business, or deal with medical stuff was a royal pain. If teleportation was a thing, I’d have signed up yesterday.

Then, like a bolt of lightning, it hit me. There’s this stunning little corner of Tijuana—Playas de Tijuana—a slice of beach paradise just steps over the border. Not the gritty, chaotic TJ everyone imagines. This is the TJ no one talks about. I didn’t waste a second. I bought my dream home, became a Mexican citizen, and never looked back.

Now? Life is freedom. I can live on the beach in Mexico and pop over to the U.S. anytime I feel like it—sometimes twice in one day. No flights, no stress, no hassle. It’s a game-changer. These days, I’m helping others make the same leap. Whether it’s finding the perfect spot in Playas or sorting out residency paperwork (hint: it’s easier than you think when you’ve got me on your team), I’ve got you covered.
